Below is the calendar of musical Performances & Events. All are open to the public. Musical performances will incorporate the use of guitars in the exhibition. Space is limited, so plan accordingly. Exhibition is LIVE.

Saturday, September 23

4 - 8 pm 

Opening Reception.

Join us at the Gallery for a rousing Opening Reception to officially kickoff the exhibition. Enjoy Chroma's signature wine and champagne while mingling with the artists, Gallery Owner, Rita Baunok and her staff and guests of the exhibition. Check out the art and other goods offered in the shops around town in the Katonah Art Walk.

Palomino Band

Get your dancing shoes ON for Bedford, NY based musical duo, Tom O'Brien, vocalist & guitarist & Pam Hervey, vocalist & drummer. Palomino Band plays their dynamic and soulful arrangements of covers and originals in venues and events throughout Northern Westchester County. Join us at the Gallery for an intimate performance with guest guitarist, Julie Rosenberg.

Artist Talk

Join us in the Gallery for one of Chroma's most anticipated and well-attended event. The Artist Talk is an integral opportunity for guests and artists to connect and discuss art. Talks are structured around the creative process, and are known to engage, educate, and inspire participants. Come meet and interact with the artists, get insight into their works and network with other members in our community.

 Rock out with Katonah, NY based musicians, Robin Reitzes, vocalist, Julie Rosenberg, guitarist, and Steve Giner, guitarist, as they perform their jazzy inspired arrangements of pop, rock, R&B covers.

Jake Morelli

Guitarists and enthusiasts will be treated to a solo guitar performance by Global musician, Jake Morelli.

 

"Producer/guitarist Jake Morelli is a 3rd generation musician originally from NY (now living in Philadelphia, PA). He has worked with some of today's top artists: Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, The Roots, Jonas Brothers, Quincy Jones, Grace Potter, Hunter Hayes, Daru Jones, Roberta Flack, NEYO, Queen Latifah, Kathy Sledge (Sister Sledge), Esperanza Spalding, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls), Rodney Holmes (Santana), K’Naan, Musiq Soulchild, Vivian Green, Chubb Rock, Kindred the Family Soul, Brass Heaven, Cash $, Floetry, T.M Stevens (Miles Davis) and Village People."

Nicky Barbato

Guitarists and enthusiasts will be treated to a solo guitar performance by New York musician, Nicky Barbato.

 

"Nicky Barbato is a guitarist, bandleader, composer, and educator based in New York, NY. His latest album, the Nicky Barbato Project's Every Day is a Bad Hair Day (produced by Jon Irabagon) was recognized by The New York City Jazz Record as a 'Best Debut of 2019' alongside releases from Larry Grenadier and Nick Dunston. The album was called 'eclectic...hard driving NYC style guitar noir' and a 'modern day essential for adventurous guitar fans' by Roots Music Report. The Vinyl Anachronist wrote 'Nicky's vision cuts through surf rock, jazz, '70s prog rock, funk and rockabilly--and that's just in the first song and a half.' Sea of Tranquility described Barbato's guitar playing as 'really quite amazing.'"
